do you not allow comments on your blog? anyway, i wanted to say that i feel the same way about antoine doinel. in fact i think it is fascinating that he is such a potent fusion of truffaut's more quiet vulnerability and leaud's playful charm and aggressiveness. probably my favorite character of all time as well!
